September 14, 2022 - A Brisbane River Cruise including lunch at the Breakfast Creek Hotel

Members joined in a “Cruise to Lunch” on the M.V. Neptune - rivercitycruises.com.au/cruise-to-lunch/ It began with a cruise up the Brisbane River to Breakfast Creek, where they disembarked and enjoyed a leisurely walk to the Breakfast Creek Hotel for an included lunch. Members the strolled back to the boat which then cruised back.

August 2nd - Dinner and Movie Night

Eleven members attended the Dinner & Movie Night. We met at 5pm at Kafe Meze, 409 Honour Ave, Graceville, with our BYO drinks and then ordered our meals from a wide selection of Greek food.

August 1st - August General Meeting

July 11th - 14th. Gympie Tour

Members gathering at the bus for departure on the 4 day excursion to Gympie and surrounds. A stop at the Yandina Ginger factory and a visit to the Nutworks with coffee and cake was a great way to start.

The itinerary below is a great summary of the activities prepared for the members. 

July 5th 2022 - Dinner and Movie at Kafe Meze

Nine members and one guest attended the Dinner & Movie Night. We met at 5pm at Kafe Meze, 409 Honour Ave, Graceville, with our BYO drinks and then ordered our meals from a wide selection of Greek food.

The movie selections were Top Gun or Elvis.

July 4th 2022 - General meeting

 

Receiving prize for best-dressed to celebrate American Independence Day. Members enjoying the Mix'n'Mingle lunch at the clubhouse after the meeting.

We celebrated American Independence Day at our July meeting with a powerpoint trivia quizz put together by Chris and presented by our quizmaster extraordinaire, Marian. Everybody was a winner with a celebratory bowl of Hersey's Kisses and Peanut butter cups on each table.

Our Picnic in the Park June get-together was at Lorraine's place in Moggill

It was a beautiful surrounds and a warm and sunny winter day

Fish and Chips at Doug’s Seafood Cafe Sandgate 23 May

Train trip to Sandgate including a luncheon at Doug's Fish Cafe and a heritage walk around Sandgate.

Retired member Arthur joined us for lunch.

AGM held on 7th March at the MacLeod Country Golf Club.
