In February 2005 we celebrated our 10th Birthday. 87 members attended and 12 invited guests.

Catering was a two course cold meal with a complimentary drink to all on arrival. Entertainment was John O'Dea singing and playing his guitar. The birthday cake was made and decorated by a club member. Each member received a piece of the cake and those who were absent received theirs later.

A copy of our 10 year history is kept at the local History Centre.

April 2016 we celebrated 40 years of Probus South Pacific. We held a luncheon and invited members from Laura, Orroroo, Peterborough and Booleroo Centre to join us. Each club presented an item and all joined in with a game of Bingo.

Each year we rotate the hosting of a combined "Probus Get Together" with members of our neighbouring clubs. This used to be in the form of a picnic, but now it is held indoors. Games, activities, items and a great amount of fellowship is enjoyed at these events. One year we hosted a Teddy Bear's Picinc in Bundaleer Forest and another year "A Minute To Win It" competition, a 'Music Hall' with Bingo, skits, poems and a sing a long.

Christmas time is another annual event we celebrate. This is a luncheon with entertainers, a mystery gift, competitions, sing a longs and on occassion even a vist by the man in red!

We also have themes on special events such as the 'PROBUS Day', Olympic Games, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Melbourne Cup, Spring, etc by including quizes, competitions, displays and speakers into our meetings.
