THE ORIGINAL LADY MEMBERS
At the March 2012 Meeting President Judy Batson presented Amy Armstrong, Doreen Forrest, Cath Handley, Margaret Maxwell, Shirley Sinclair, Fay Smith, Nell Tanswell,
Brenda Whalan and Val White, with an “Original Lady Member” Certificate in appreciation of their loyalty and commitment to our Club.
An “OLM” certificate was presented to Joan Cousens by Allen Brierley dring the Clubs visit to Norfolk Island.
On 8th April 2003 these ladies became the “Original Lady Members” into an all male member club.
They were given the recognition that they so rightly deserve as the club was revitalized by the women joining.
