ABOUT HALLIDAYS POINT
Hallidays Point is a developing coastal area located approximately midway between Taree and Forster-Tuncurry, on the NSW Mid-north Coast, and includes the villages of Black Head, Diamond Beach with shops, Red Head and Tallwoods Village, as well as the main Hallidays Point locality itself.
The area is a popular holiday destination and features Black Head Beach, (patrolled in summer by members of the local surf lifesaving club), Back Beach (with 4WD access) and Diamond Beach. Other beaches with rainforest walks are discoverable and accessible on foot.
Black Head Village Centre contains a local supermarket, post office, real estate agency, ladies hairdresser, library, café, chemist and butcher. An Op Shop is managed by the Lions Club, which also circulates a monthly newsletter, “News of Our World”.
Hallidays Point Tavern and Club Blackhead (Blackhead Bowling Club), recently renamed Halliday Sports Club, have extensive menus. Visit their websites for open hours.
Tallwoods Golf Club offers accommodation and an 18-hole course. The clubhouse contains the Belcanto restaurant, also with an extensive menu. Visit their website for open hours.
A warm welcome awaits visitors.
