Meeting Summary:

After our regular monthly members’ catch-up, the meeting focused on discussing upcoming events and future club activities. Members shared ideas and suggestions for events to be held in the coming months, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable calendar for everyone.

Morning Tea:

A delicious morning tea was kindly supplied by Nesta, enjoyed by all members.

Guest Speaker:

We were pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Colin, a retired Fire and Rescue Service personnel. Colin shared valuable tips and practical advice on fire safety in and around our homes, providing important reminders for keeping our households and community safe.

Raffle:

A raffle was held during the meeting. Congratulations to Christina D’Mato, the lucky winner! Her prizes included: - A gift voucher from Eliza Moore Dress Boutique, Greenvale Shopping Centre - A coffee voucher from Caffè Regina

Probus is a group of Seniors getting together to share and enjoy life.

At Greenvale Probus, our meetings are all about friendship, laughter, and keeping in touch with the community. We usually meet once a month, and it’s a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

A typical meeting starts with a very quick committee meeting, so all our members are kept informed about general housing keeping duties. Then time for club news, planning upcoming outings, and sharing ideas. We often invite a guest speaker to give a talk — these can range from travel stories and history to health tips or local interest topics.

Somewhere in the morning we stop for a friendly catch-up over tea or coffee before we move into the main session.

Of course, one of the best parts is simply enjoying each other’s company, making new friends, and having a few laughs along the way. Whether you’re new to the area or just looking to meet like-minded people, our meetings are a great way to stay active, social, and connected.
