Cost is $12.00 for a 2-hour show featuring a live band, MC, and 2 different artists each time. Also includes tea or coffee, and cake. A great deal and a very entertaining morning.

Friday 13th February 2026 - BAREFOOT BOWLS & DINNER @ CAMPBELLTOWN BOWLING CLUB

Barefoot bowls 4 – 6pm, followed by Dinner at Chili Joe’s Thai Restaurant at 6pm in the club.

Join us for an afternoon on the greens playing Barefoot Bowls. It’s easy to play, social and not too serious – you don’t need any skills & you can even enjoy a drink between bowls!

Come & have some fun - it’s not about the game, it’s about the people you played it with (& you can leave your flat-soled shoes on, if you prefer!). Make this a fun afternoon, watching where your bowl ends up (which is usually not where it was planned to go!).

Happy hour drinks available & the Friday night Raffle if you feel lucky.

MONDAY 9th MARCH 2026 - THE RIVERBOAT POSTMAN
This was one of our most enjoyable outings in 2023, & after repeated requests, it is again offered.Departs 8am from Gilead and returns approximately 3.15pm.Cost is $95.00 for the cruise, lunch, and return coach (we need 40 people to keep the trip at this price)Full payment due no later than Monday 2nd MarchThe first Riverboat Postman started the run in 1910, and the tradition continues today with Hawkesbury Cruises. The skippers are locals who have lived in the area their whole lives - be entertained by the stories of the river whilst cruising in comfort up this spectacular waterway. Be assured that at least 95% of what they say is true...They deliver the mail for Australia Post (& other necessities) to the river-access-only settlements on the Hawkesbury, before returning to Brooklyn at about 1.15pmIncluded is morning tea with their famous home-made ANZAC biscuits, and a very, very good Ploughman’s Lunch, and return coach.

Come from Away is a musical, is based on the events in the Newfoundland town of Gander during the week following the September 11 attacks, when 38 planes, carrying approximately 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport. The characters in the musical are based on actual Gander residents and stranded travellers they housed and fed. This is a very funny & clever musical, & CTG always present high-quality musicals.

The new Robertson Brothers show at The Cube. It is called The Everly Brothers & Friends, with the Robertson Brothers, and it is on Sunday 7th June at 2.30pm. Payment of $60.00 per person is due Monday 18th May. The sign-up list is on the Probus noticeboard, or non-villagers can email me to add their names.

COOK ISLANDS TRIP SEPTEMBER 2026 - Mary has been able to reduce the cost of our proposed COOK ISLANDS trip by almost $1000.00! This makes it a much more affordable holiday for all. To secure this price we need to decide and act quickly, as this package deal ends on December 28th 2025.  

Cook Islands package from My Holiday closes on 28th December so if you are still considering this fantastic trip please let me know ASAP as their staff will obviously be closed for Christmas & Boxing Day. I just need these basic details from you to get started (full name as on passport, DOB, email), and the deposit would need to be paid within three days after My Holiday contacts you.
We have 22 travellers at present, which is wonderful.

Club Meetings: 3rd Friday of each month, 10.30am
$5 Meeting fee to cover Guest Speaker and includes morning tea.

Morning Melodies @ The Cube (singers & a live band, plus morning tea):
1st Tuesday every two months

SOCIAL LUNCH – Held every 2nd month on varied weekdays. This is often incorporated into a larger outing. Next lunch is on Thursday 3rd July at Camden Golf Club.

SOCIAL DINNER – Held every 2nd month, alternating with the lunch months. Next dinner is on Monday 19th May at Oran Park Hotel.
