Probus Walking Group

Don has now resumed the Walking Group but only under Covid 19 guidelines, as set out by the NSW Government. He will send out emails at the beginning of each month and those interested in attending the walk must reply to him via email. He cannot have more in the Group than is allowed so it is very important that you respond to his email.

NEXT WALK - Tuesday 8th June 2021

MEETING PLACE: Parramatta Railway Station, stand B3, where the Hills Buses terminate.

MEETING TIME: 9.30am

This is a 5km walking history tour of Parramatta.  It is mainly flat but there are some steps.
It will include the OLD, the PRESENT and the NEW areas of Parramatta. 
The OLD includes some well-presented archaeological remains from 1801.
Some of the PRESENT is related to the Light Rail construction, it is untidy, but it is interesting to see what is happening. 
The NEW includes PARRAMATTA SQUARE.
We will stop for lunch at the New Parramatta Club, (the old RSL Club) so please RSVP to [email protected] and I will make a group booking.  Bring your drivers licence or Castle Hill RSL Club membership card. 
After lunch you can either walk back to the station to catch your bus or walk up to the bus stop outside the Parramatta Leagues club.
