Members entertained at Probus meeting with the “re-committal ceremony”

Members were entertained at the last Probus meeting with the “re-committal ceremony” for Tony and Ardyce Hughes.
Their membership is unusual in that they have a regular arrangement of spending 6 months in USA and 6 months in Australia. In July of 2016 they were married on the deck of the “San Salvador” - a replica Spanish Galleon which Tony and other like-minded people are building in San Diego CA USA.
After returning to Australia members of the Club surprised them with a “re-enactment” of the wedding in front of the whole Club. The “re-committal ceremony” featured Peter and Jan CLARK as Best Man and Bridesmaid with Barb HALLION as Flower Girl!. Also featuring in the “ceremony” were Malcolm PAECH who played the Wedding March on the piano accordion and John SEMMLER who officiated.
