SANTA FE 

Back on US soil, the six-day Spotlight on Santa Fe Holiday tour has a slight chill in the air that transforms the city into a Southwestern winter wonderland replete with yuletide cheer.

Unlike the frosty temperatures of the Northeast, Santa Fe’s winters are marked by brisk but temperate weather and occasional snowfall. If you’re lucky, your visit might include a few inches of white powder blanketing the sunbaked pueblos and adobes.

Come nightfall, the historic Santa Fe Plaza is illuminated by the soft glow of hundreds of farolitos, or small paper lanterns, a traditional New Mexican form of Christmas candle.
