Members travelled to the Essendon Football Club by bus for a guided tour and lunch at the Bomber’s Café.
The group then moved onto the Victoria Police Air Wing for a guided tour by personnel and one of our esteemed members
Colin Watson (Retired, Police Air Wing). Members were able to view the twin engine helicopters used in the aerial support of police, search & rescue & ambulance operations. An added attraction for members was an interesting and very informative experience in the Traffic Surveillance Room.
A fun and fabulous Music Afternoon, followed by afternoon tea was held at members’ (The Berrimans) residence recently.
Music included a variety show including music from Dinah Washington, Berlin Philharmonic, Roy Orbison, The Scots Dragoon Guards, Louis Armstrong and Ringo Starr.
