The Rotary Club of Chelsea, the sponsoring Club in 1984, was represented by Past President Hans Wehmoller.
Alsp present was Mr Tony Hills, Acting Rotary Probus Chairman, Rotary District 9810.
The happy and enjoyable fellowship occasion with member Alan Carter as MC, was presented with projected photographs from the club’s history albums. The pictures were explained by the club’s life member and its 1984 Foundation President Ron Jacobs AFSM,OAM.
A splendid session of Music As You Like It played by The Tune Twisters, a seven-piece band, led by Past President Max Blaskett, with much toe tapping enthusiasm, had members singing along to old time favourites.
Prior to President Kevin Breen closing the anniversary celebration, both Rotary guests spoke, wishing the club many future years of enjoyment, with Tony Hills presenting the written greetings from the PSP Chairman and a congratulatory 30 year certificate.
