Castle Donnington (Swan Hill) Probus Club visit to the Flume
15 Sep 2015
Recently the Castle Donnington (Swan Hill) Probus Club members visited the historical site of The Flume at Wood Wood.
A wooden aqua duct that transported water from part of the old Mallee water channel system across valleys to a further part of the channel system. This is now heritage listed.
This trip was combined with a visit to Jeanette Young’s Church in Piangil for Morning Tea and her entertainment and Lucy Dacey’s Doll display and lunch at Nyah West.
