Hobart Macquarie Mystery Coach Tour Lunch
14 Dec 2017
A large number of Members of Hobart Macquarie Probus Club boarded a Coach in Hobart and began a Mystery Bus Tour, one of their popular 2017 monthly excursions/outings.
The bus drove south on the Huon Highway, with a morning tea stop on the banks of the Huon River at Huonville.
Back on the coach and it was a drive along the Huon River to the township of Cygnet.
After Cygnet it off to the Channel Highway where they enjoyed water-side views across to Bruny Island and small rural townships along the way.
The lunch stop was at Kettering, the location of the recent Australian drama film “ The Kettering Incident” .
Lunch was at the Oyster Bay Inn overlooking the Kettering Marina and waters of D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
After lunch it was back onto the Channel Highway and back to Hobart – a “ Round Trip”.
All were surprised by the route the coach took, views and the locations visited.
