A road trip

Last month, Probians from the Fawkner Merlynston club were joined by members from other local social groups, for a short five-day bus tour to Merimbula, the popular holiday spot on the south coast of New South Wales. This is an area that never fails to delight visitors with it’s beautiful scenery and local attractions, and yes, we were even introduced to such a heavy rainfall it prevented us from boarding our coach for about 45 minutes one evening on our way out to dinner!
Visiting the seaside villages of Eden, Boydtown, and Pambula along with heritage listed Tilba were all enjoyable outings. Having a mixed group proved to be a great success with everyone expressing their desire to visit another destination next year! Well done to our tour organiser Wendy Nance who had to work very hard for it all to happen.
