An invitation was also extended to His Worship the Mayor of Walkerville – Ray Grigg.
Members were encouraged to bring a friend to the meeting with a view to increasing Club memberships.
After an address by Mayor Grigg, six speakers – including three Foundation Members – spoke of their experiences at the Club.
At the conclusion of the meeting Club historian Kevin Goulter presented Mayor Grigg and Brian Ballard of the Prospect Rotary Club with copies of the Club History booklet entitled “The first 25 years of the Walkerville Men’s Probus Club”.
The meeting was followed by a catered lunch in the Town Hall which was enjoyed by all members and guests.
