TRAIN TRIP TO SOMEWHERE

This month’s train journey is to the beautiful Blue Mountain township of Leura.
Charge up your Opal Card, grab some water & a few snacks for the journey.
Our Train leaves Morisset at 7.30am, Wyee 7.37am & Warnervale 7.44am, arriving at Strathfield Station at around 9.14am. We change over to Platform 3 and catch the 9.31am Mount Victoria train which should get us to Leura Station at approximately 11.12am. Leura station now has a lift making it easily accessible to the township. (The Blue Mountain trains have toilets aboard).
Be mindful that Leura is situated on a very steep roadway that may be difficult for some to navigate. I’d suggest you walk to the bottom of the township first then slowly make your way back up to the station while exploring all the wonderful gift & novelty shops along the way (don’t forget to visit the chocolate shop to purchase essential goodies for the journey home).
On the homeward journey we need to catch either the 1.18pm train from Leura that gets us back to Wyee at 5.11pm or the 2.24pm train that gets us back to Wyee at 6.09pm (Decision to be made on the day).
Cost: Opal Gold Card $2.50, Adult fare approximately $16.80 - plus Lunch & goodies
