CLUB HISTORY

In 1997 the Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly sponsored their second Probus Club, called the Probus Club of Waterloo Bay.  The club was to be a combined male/female club.  The inaugural meeting was held on the 7th of August 1997 with 42 foundation members.  By November 1997 the club had grown to 75 members.

The Club was incorporated under the Queensland Incorporation Act 1981 on the 2nd of February 1998.  An ABN was first obtained on the 1st of November 1999.  A new ABN was obtained in 2021 which became active on the 1st of December 2021.
