OUTINGS

We all like to participate in our Trips- may they be day outings or an extended trip. If our Club cannot fill a coach  we have been able to join with other Club's in our area. The Maitland area have now formed a Cluster Group where we meet and discuss different ideas. Our recent trips have been to Floriade & Macksville.

Our day trips have been varied, sometimes we may just have a picnic in Maitland Park, or trips to Newcastle on the train. One of our memorable trips was a coach trip to Port Stephens where we joined the Wangi Queen and enjoyed a sightseeing trip around the waters of Port Stephens. Some of our group have also been to Tea Gardens where they had lunch and then boarded the local Ferry over to Nelsons Bay. Other outings have included a trip to the Sea-Farers in Newcastle where we all donated items that may be used by the sailors when they come ashore off the Coal ships. We also enjoy playing Croquet together and then we participate in lunch.

We are never short of ideas put forward by our planning committee.
