Activities
The Club Management Committee organises and sponsors the following activities:
Social Functions and Special Events
The Club organises many successful social functions for the enjoyment of members. Foremost amongst these are the mid-year and end-of-year lunches, greatly enjoyed by members and partners. The upstairs and ground-level lounges of the Bowling Club are popular venues for meetings and functions.
The Club endeavours to maintain a programme of extraordinary events at approximately two-month intervals to visit places of interest or luncheon or dinner venues that are attractive to all members and their partners. Coordinated travel arrangements for these events are arranged by the Club if necessary.
Details of upcoming functions and events are published in the monthly newsletter.
Golf
The golf group plays 9 holes each Monday at the Ellerslie Golf Course. Tee off time is 2:15 pm.
At the end of the game, the players then move on to the La Vista Cafe to meet up with the Imbibers Group at 4:00 pm.
New members welcome.

Walking Group
Popular with many members are the local walks taken by the group each second Saturday morning. These convenor-lead walks traverse different tracks, often dedicated pedestrian walkways along areas of scenic interest and beauty. A well-earned coffee rounds off the morning.
