Guest speakers:
2022
18th November - Jan Tierney from the Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury. Jan entertained all with very interesting information on the Centre, and some history of her life, and it was obvious she was very passionate about the work done by the centre, and her position there-in.
21st October - Barbara Rae from the Bunbury Museum & Heritage Centre talking about Family History. Barbara took us through the steps that can help us prove that the data we are seeking, is accurate.
16th September - Kerry Smith and Helen Barry from St John of God Hospital and they gave a very interesting talk on Palliative Care, Patient Support, and Oncology. There are 3 McGrath Foundation Care Nurses now supporting people in the Bunbury region. The advances in Medical Science are amazing and people who would normally, only survive for a couple of weeks are now living for years after diagnosis:
19th August - Kim Greeve - Dept of Health speaking of Voluntary Assisted Dying. It was a very interesting talk with the main take out was the very, very personal nature of the process. Kim was thanked very much for making the journey from Perth.
17th June - Daniel Nottas - Royal Automotive Club (RAC), Perth, who delivered an interactive quiz on the history of RAC in WA. We took a look back at:

20th May - Craige Pettit - Craige gave a very interesting talk, engaged with our members, and answered many questions. Thank you, Craige, we very much appreciate you taking time-out for us.
22nd April - Ian Farrell, local Bush Poet & Entertainer. We have been blessed with Ian’s presence in the past and we certainly hope we can entice him back again. Perhaps we should make his appearance an annual event, following our AGM?
