The South Bunbury Probus Club is a combined Club which came about because of the vision of 2 people; Lesley Brown (President of the South Bunbury Ladies' Probus Club) and Gerry Mallott (President of the South Bunbury Mens' Probus Club). The merger successfully occurred in 2008 and today the Club is thriving with 59 financial members.

The South Bunbury Mens' Club was formed in 1988 and the founding President was Jim Brennen. The Womens' Club came along a year later and was headed by Betty Gibbon.
