FEBRUARY 2024 NEWSLETTER.

       What an excellent attendance at our first meeting for 2024. It was also exciting to be able to induct four new members and welcome 2 visitors.

Thanks to all the members who wore a touch of Australia to celebrate the forthcoming Australia Day and to our Vice President Heather for her interesting Trivia Quiz which followed the sumptuous morning tea.

February’s  events .

Every Friday morning- coffee/tea & a chat at “The Gippy Nook” Raymond Street, commencing at 10am.  

February 8^th –Monthly lunch at Maffra Sporties, commencing at 12noon.

February 13^th – Free monthly movie at Sale Library – “The Banshees of Inisherin” commencing at 2.30pm.  For bookings – 51423575

February 20^th – A guided tour of Centenary House, Traralgon. (all details in the excursions section)

February 26th – Meeting Day/ Activities afternoon – The Function Room, Sale Greyhounds Club - 9.30am for 10am start ** PLEASE NOTE - coffee/tea is NOT AVAILABLE PRIOR TO THE MEETING,  but can be purchased in the Sale Greyhounds Coffee shop if required.

***Ladies if you would like to invite a friend to attend our February 27th meeting, please do so. Your friend may wish to join our club at some time in the future.

Our Guest speaker in February will be Ian Fallowes from the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As agreed at the January meeting, all money collected for the Lucky Door Prize at the February meeting will be donated to the RFDS. Thanks to Liz Watt for making this suggestion and also donating the lucky door prize.

Please remember to wear your NAME BADGE and SIGN IN when you arrive at the meeting and have your PROBUS MEDICAL CARD with you.
