Probus clubs aim to provide fellowship, social outings and a wide range of activities for retired people. Monthly meetings are held where members are informed on a variety of topics by special guest speakers.
The Probus Club of Robina Parks Inc was formed on the Gold Coast in 1992.
Our current membership is 87 from Robina and local surrounding suburbs of the Gold Coast. We lost a few members do to the covid restrictions but we feel we came out of lock down very well, mainly due to our committee and the work they did to keep the club together with news letters and phone contacts. We are a very friendly mixed gender club and we welcome visitors and potential members to all our meetings and events.
We offer the opportunity to :

- Go on outings and sport activities.
- Hear interesting guests speakers.
- Enjoy a meal out with new friends.
We meet once a month with a short formal meeting, followed by a tea break which provides a good opportunity to socalise and make new friends. Afterwards we have a presentation from a guest speaker. It helps if you have a sense of humour for the meeting. We then go for a lunch at a local RSL, another opportunite to get to know people.
