Probus Information Day 2018
President Rodney Harrison and Treasurer Graham Brown attended the Probus Information Day on 29th May, hosted by the Westlakes Combined Probus Club. Thanks are due to the Westlakes Club for the organisation and catering of the event.
Facilitated by PSPL CEO Silvana Martignago, discussion focussed on the structure and role pf PSPL with time also allocated to membership issues.
Of benefit was the opportunity to make personal contact with members of other clubs and to forge links which we hope will be useful to all parties including our own Club.
Donation from the Rotary Club of St Peters
The Payneham Probus Club acknowledges with thanks the Rotary Club of St Peters' generous donation of a new sound/PA system for our club's use. The new equipment was commissioned for our June meeting.
The system is a great enhancement for our meetings and members formally acknowledged the Rotary Club of St Peters gesture.

Four members of the Payneham Combined Probus Club committee attended the Probus Information Day held at West Lakes on 22nd February.
The programmme covered all aspects of running a Probus Club and also facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences in "breakout sessions" for club officers. It was a great networking opportunity for all and much useful information was gained.
Thanks are due to the Westlakes Combined Probus Club for hosting the event and to PSPL and RDPCs Margaret Robinson, Barry Pryor and David Simpson for their contribution to the events of the day.
