Welcome to our club's home page, here is a guide to how our monthly meetings are run.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 9.30am (from 1st November 2017 Carrum Hub Valetta Street Carrum )there is  parking, we are near Carrum Station & buses run in Mcleod Road. (Crossing removal works currently in operation)

All members are required to be signed in for insurance purposes, if you are a prospective member or  a visitor you will be asked a couple of basic details & given a temporary badge. You are then welcome to join the meeting.

Every one is given a copy of our current newsletter which is a diary of current & upcoming events.

We start with the business of the day, once that is over it's time for morning tea (always something delicious)

Then it is time for the speaker of the month. We try to cover a wide range of topics catering for a variety of tastes.

The meeting is usually finished by 12noon, we then meet at a local venue for lunch,(this changes every month) it is optional, but always a good oprtunity to meet & chat to other members.

The club has an active membership who regularly enjoy outings to places of interest either by hired coach, or sometines on the train, occasionally by car, car pooling is always available. We have a wide range of interests and outings are spread over a variety of subjects.

 DINE OUT:

DINE OUT RUNS MAINLY IN THE SPRING & SUMMER WHEN THE NIGHTS ARE LIGHTER & THE WEATHER WARMER, WE CHANGE VENUE EVERY MONTH ENDEAVOURING tO CATER FOR A VARIETY OF TASTES.MEMBERS ARE NOTIFIED VIA THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER OF THE VENUE & ASKED TO INDICATE THEIR INTEREST BY LISTING THEIR NAMES. 

 THEATRE OUTINGS:

THEATRE OUTINGS ARE ALWAYS PLANNED WELL AHEAD OF TIME, THESE CAN BE LOCAL OR IN THE CITY, WE MAY CHOOSE TO HIRE A COACH OR SOMETIMES TO MAKE OUR WAY BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT. THEY COVER A WIDE RANGE OF INTERESTS FROM MUSICAL THEATRE, PLAYS,MORNING MELODIES, AND MANY OTHER FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT.

OUTINGS:

WE REGULARLY RUN OUTINGS TO VARIOUS PLACES OF INTEREST,BOTH LOCALLY & FURTHER AFIELD.USUALLY BY COACH, OCCASIONALLY CAR, OUR SOCIAL SECRETARY ALWAYS HAS AN INTERESTING PROGRAM OF EVENTS TO SUIT MOST TASTES. WE TRY TO KEEP THE COST REASONABLE AND OFTEN OFFER  PAYMENT SPREAD OVER A FEW MONTHS
