BOREDOM  -  can be a nasty word in retirement  - but not if you belong to MORTDALE PROBUS CLUB.  The Probus motto, if you like, of Fun, Friendship and Fellowship, is certainly found here.  We hold monthly meetings at Mortdale RSL Club, beginning at 10am, and all visitors are welcome.  The usual format is a general meeting followed by a guest speaker (we have had some beauts!)  We are fortunate to have a vital and hard-working committee who arrange day trips by coach, less expensive day trips, great theatre outings, extended tours (cruise to New Zealand next year), monthly walks (sorry, no kayaking or absailing!) and other great activities.  In other words – something for everyone in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. 

 

So – don’t be bored – come and meet some new friends – you will be very welcome at MORTDALE PROBUS CLUB.

Walking Club

One activity I very much enjoy is with the monthly walking group. Often we go to places that we don't normally visit which can be quite enlightening.

Eveything is done at a relaxed pace and usually finishes at a nearby cafe for lunch.
