OUTINGS

Many outings are arranged throughout the year from very inexpensive Opal Day adventures and walking club events to our once a year extended tour.

In addition to these, the club attends many live events at locations such as the Capitol and Lyric theatre, the Sutherland Entertainment Center.

Other events such as,  Spring  and Xmas Luncheons, day tours by coach, Club BBQs, Melbourne Cup lunch, Mid year special outing with lunch, games day and many more.

The club endeavours to provide a  wide variety of outings so that all of its members are able to participate in some if not all events on offer.

 Activities 2022

  Our Club enjoyed a short break away to Canberra.   Highlights included High Tea at Parliament House (pictured) and the Sunset service at the Australian War Memorial. 

  1st November saw us participate in  a celebration luncheon at Mortdale RSL for Melbourne Cup.  One  member won the best dressed competition and  others were lucky  winning  in the sweeps, on the TAB, the lucky door prize and in the raffles.   Overall  everyone went home happy after a fun day.
