WHAT'S HAPPENING

We have set up our own private Facebook Group as a discussion forum for sharing our experiences both current and in the past.  The joining our group is available to all members.

Club Newsletter

The Club produces an extensive newsletter for members on a regular monthly basis.  The newsletter to the primary means of communication with members on club activities and runs to around 10 pages with many photographs of members enjoying club activities.

It is emailed to members each month but can be posted to members that don't have access to email.  Content is largely provided by members.

Events are organised by Interest Group Coordinators.  Please contact the respective coordinator to secure tickets for events that require booking and payment in advance.  Please note the Group Activity Policy at the bottom of this page.

Dine out, Day trips, Afternoon coffee and Walks are generally organised on a monthly basis.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS ON ACTIVITIES:

  • Where numbers are limited, places will be allotted on the basis of the order of payment.
  • No refunds for day outings or extended tours shall be made to those who have paid for an event and subsequently cannot attend unless a cash benefit is first received by the Club from the outings operator relative to the non-attendance.
  • Members who cannot attend the outing should endeavour to arrange a replacement for their position with the outing.
