Interesting guest speakers do a presentation at each of our monthly meetings. In April 2023 we enjoyed a presentation about the National Arboretum. In May we had a speaker from Vision Australia. In June our speaker was a volunteer at the National Botanic Gardens. In July our speaker told us about his solo 2400km kayak expedition. August our speakers was from the ACT Libraries. September we had a talk about Japanese culture. In October the Artistic Director from Music for Canberra told us about the sponsorship and mentoring of young musicians.
We have a speaker organsed for April 2024 Dr Brad Tucker, Astrophysicist/Cosmologist at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics and Mount Stromlo Observatory. He has spoken to one of our meeting in the past, and is always very interesting.
