In September 2025 the Club's Photography Group visited the Punchbowl Lookout in the Onkaparinga Gorge. This easy walking trail to the Punchbowl gave us spectacular views of the gorge and surrounding areas. Here are some of the views.



Other September 2025 Club activities included lawn bowls and our ROMEO luncheon at Yum Sing, Old Reynella.


The Club also joined in the Onkaparinga Council's Ageing Well Expo held at the Woodcroft Library on 1st October 2025. The Club's stall was next to the Morphett Vale Probus Club. An excellent opportunity to promote Probus and our Club. The event was well organised with over 20 stalls from different organisations supporting the ageing sector. Thanks to Jenny, our Probus regional director for organising Probus involvement in this event which was also visited by local MP Nat Cook.
The Club's Photography Group's outing in August 2025 was a historical walk through North Adelaide along Kermode St., Pennington Tce. & King William St. Here are some of the group's photos.










July 2025 saw our Photography outing at the MOD Museum in the city for a wonderful display about time under the title of "Forever" done by the UniSA. This was followed up by lunch at the Guardsman at the Adelaide Railway Station.






July 2025 Club Outing was a visit to the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory. We had a great time sampling some yummy chocolates and learning the history of the company.This was then followed by a hearty meal at the Goodwood hotel

Our June 2025 Photography outing was a guided walk around Historic Mitcham Village provided by the Mitcham Council. Here are some photos from this historical and very informative walk. So much about the State's early european history and settlement.








The Club's Morning Coffee Group had a good turn out of members for June 2025.

April 2025 saw the Club’s photography group ventured on a historical walk through the Old Marion Village. The walk was well marked with tiled information on the pavement about the history spots along the way.
The Club also enjoyed a ROMEO luncheon at the Crown Hotel at Old Reynella. Our Morning Coffee Group gathering was well attended at the Honey Bee Cafe at the Hub.

During the month of March 2025, the club had a photography outing to the Botanical Gardens in the City to see the World renowned glass sculpture artist, Dale Chihuly Exhibition. Despite the only wet day for the year so far, the Club members enjoyed Dale’s magnificent artwork along with many overseas tourists (mainly French) visiting Adelaide and the glass exhibition.






The Club also held its Annual BBQ in March. It was well attended and everyone enjoyed their meal and the surprise cake for sweets. Well done Trevor and Christine for organising this and thank you to the cooks, Bill, Malcolm, Gerry and Joan






In February 2025 the Photography Group did a historical walk along Tyne Street North Adelaide. The group saw historical buildings and learnt about the early periods of the colony in this area north of Adelaide. Here are some photos to reflect on the past.

In January 2025 the Club had several different outings. The Photography group visited the newly open Witton Bluff Base Trail Boardwalk at Port Noarlunga. The walking group walked along the esplanade between the Broadway and Glenelg. Our ROMEO lunch this month was at the Vines Golf Club. Our activity outing was to the Bay Discovery Centre at Glenelg, followed by lunch at the Glenelg SLSC. Here are some photos of the experiences felt by members from these activities.














In December 2024 the Club held its annual Christmas Dinner at the Woodcroft Tavern. Here are some photos to reflect on the celebration and atmosphere of the enjoyable luncheon and company.








During December 2024, the Club’s Walking Group travelled along the seaside from Somerton Park SLSC to Glenelg Broadway Kiosk, with an unexpected guest.
