Leah Anderson, Port Stephens East Ward Councillor, spoke on Council's actions and non-actions on local issues, and took a list of our concerns back to Council - and even sent us Council's response.
Bill Marshall, President of the Nelson Bay Community Hall, gave us the history of the Hall and told us of their challeges over the years
Peter Clough, President of the Tomaree Headland Heritage Group, told us of progress in keeping the Headland in public hands on the vacating of Tomaree Lodge by its residents, and of possible future uses of the Headland.
Jordan Grupetta, a local computer specialist, gave us advice on avoiding scams via computer and phone, which are inundating us these days.
Sharon Mills from Meals on Wheels gave an informative and entertaining talk on the ethos of the Meals on Wheels organization and a description design of menus, preparation of food, distribution of food and relationship with their clients.
