Twenty seven years ago, in March 1997, a meeting of interest was held with the Rotary club of Epsom. Doug Bunting was President, Ian Boshier the Secretary.
The result was the formation of the Combined Probus Club of Epsom. It was the second combined club to be formed in New Zealand.
There were thirty four foundation members who met at the Epsom Bowling Club for many years.
Today we have ninety eight members. Ian Boshier who was instrumental in starting the club was our Patron, Sadly he passed away in May 2024. He is greatly missed.
We meet at the St Johns Church Hall, Chandler Ave, Royal Oak on the first Monday of the month for a 10am start.
Visitors are always welcome.
