February - Thursday 20th:  post- holiday season get-together.

By popular demand it will be at the Alex Bar & Eatery, Alexandra Park, Greenlane Rd. Meeting at 11:30am.  There is counter food and a varied Board menu. It is at own expense and drinks are available. Good parking and buses on Manukau and Greenlane Rds

March Thursday the 20th Kaipara Cost Plant Centre and Sculpture Gardens

Depart by bus: Royal Oak 9:15am. Arrive Sculpture Gardens 10:15am. Morning tea (and Toilet). At
10:45ish ‘Stroll along a gentle 1 km sculpture garden trail’. Listen to the birds, enjoy the garden and
over 40 sculptures by leading NZ artists - about 60min walk with reasonable fitness. The path is small
shingle but not suitable for walking frames. There is a very good plant centre (for those who do not
fancy the walk). Then back to the bus around 12:00pm to leave at 12:15.
12:45pm – 1pm: Helensville Ginger Café next to the Railway station for lunch at own expense (there
is counter food and board menu). At 2:00pm visit the Railway Museum for their tour. At about 3:00pm
we leave for home. Cost - $55

Cards 500 Group

Cards 500 Group to meet at Unit 139/ 539 Mt Albert Rd, Ranfurly Village on Wednesday  at 12:45pm for a start at 1:00pm.
