Our aim is to provide a warm, relaxed environment for semi-retired and retired women to meet and socialise. For many, lasting friendships have developed and there's lots of space for new members to be included!
From January 2025 the Club will meet on the third Monday of the month from 10.00am till 12.00noon in Eastlake Football Club, 3 Oxley Street, Griffith, ACT. After the meeting members can choose to continue to the bistro for lunch and chat.
March and December are the exceptions: in March we hold the Annual General Meeting on the third Monday and in December we have a Christmas Lunch on the first Monday.
For each meeting, an interesting guest speaker is invited to talk about their special interest. During each month, members are encouraged to participate in organised local outings and are welcome to participate in the monthly gatherings of the Mahjong Group, Social Book Chat and Movie Group.
