Newsletter
A monthly Newsletter is produced in colour and distributed by email, hand delivery or mail. Members are encouraged to use the email option if they have an email address.
The newsletter normally contains:
- highlights of the Club’s General Meeting of members
- descriptions and cost of outings together with payment due dates
- descriptions and cost of stage and screen performances together with payment due dates
- details of forthcoming guest speakers and topics
- reports on club activities (eg Chats/Walk/Eats, Games Mornings)
- topical comments (eg Member Spotlight, Did You Know, Laughter is the Best Medicine)
- photos of recent outings and performances
- information about new members, member resignations and members who are unwell
- reminders about future meetings and special events
The Newsletter is a continuously evolving project that aims to be responsive to changes in membership, the expressed needs of the Committee and suggestions or comments from members.
