ABOUT US
Bargo PROBUS Club held our “Show Interest” meeting in February 2020, followed by our inaugural meeting at Bargo Sports Club on Monday, 9th March 2020.
COVID closed us down but didn’t hold us back, so we are again having fun with our new and old friends.
There are currently 30 members, and we are looking to expand our membership, make new friendships and explore new horizons together. We enjoy socialising, having fun and exploring new ideas.
We have excellent participation from our members. Being a small club hasn’t hindered us or restricted our adventures.
From time to time we partner with neighbouring clubs to participate in events and share the fun.
Our guest speakers have been informative, entertaining and at times challenging, making us think beyond our own bubble.
Some of our recent activities have included Coffee & Chat, Pub Crawls, Social adventures and events, including access public transport via trains, light rails and ferries.
In September, 2024 members joined a neighbouring group and enjoyed a weeks holiday in Norfolk Island. Our complete list of activities can be found on our 'Activities' page.
