PROBUS CLUB OF BACCHUS MARSH Inc . . .
Was originally formed in 1988 as a men’s only group with the first president being Bob Butler. In 2007 the men’s group changed to a mixed group with the first lady president being Joyce Porter. There are now approximately 92 members.
The club has many activities which are organised by members. There is a card afternoon, a very successful morning tea once a month in The Village Shopping Centre when up to forty members attend. A member organizes theatre and movie outings and another member organises a dining out event once per month. There is a walking group that gets together every week. Also, there is a member that organises trips and tours which takes members to many varied interesting places.
