Walking Group:
An energetic group of members meets at 09:15am every 1st, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month to explore and discover scenic routes around Albany and surrounding districts.
Movies, Theatre and Curatorials:
Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday each month our knowledgeable movie buffs view the latest cinema releases then critique the plot over coffee and cake or over a meal. In Albany there is an abundance of concerts, plays and recitals providing groups of members the opportunity enjoy theatrical events. WA Museum of the Great Southern conducts curatorial on local historical events.
Night Owls:
Connoisseurs of food and wine are spoilt for choice in Albany and our members venture forth for an evening meal on the 2nd Thursday of the month to participate in a range of cuisine from around the World at a variety of restaurants.
Winery Wanderers:
The Great Southern of Western Australia is noted for its cool climate wines. Quality wineries in Demark, Mt Barker and Porongurup regions are all within an easy drive from Albany. Three or four times each year the Club takes a tour through the countryside to one of these wineries where we enjoy a tasting of the vintage with luncheon provided in the winery cafe.
Coffee Club:
Members gather on the first Friday of the month to enjoy each others company whilst partaking in the best coffee and cakes offered by coffee houses in and around Albany.
Annual Picnic:
During January our Club is in recess, which means there are no formal meetings, but the fun must continue. On the 2nd Wednesday in January the Club holds an annual picnic at Emu Point picnic grounds. This is a relaxed, informal gathering that allows members to catch up after Xmas and provides a great venue for fellowship.
