SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
The Club has established a number of special interest groups that are available to all members to join but members are encouraged to create new Groups. Scheduled events are listed in the club calendar. Contact details and recent news can be found in the club newsletters.
Some Current Groups include:
Book Group
The Book Group meets bi-monthly on the evening of the regular meeting. A book is nominated by the group at he previous meeting and is discussed informally. Opinions vary, making for interesting interactions; even if members could not finish the book, they can still attend the meeting to listen to the discussion and later enjoy a snack and a glass of wine.
Blues Group
Meets on the first Tuesday of the month at Flemington Bowls Club at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Societies Jam night.
Bridge Group
Meets at 7pm for social bridge on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of the month at the Princes Park Carlton Bowls Club, off Bowen Cres, North Carlton. It is a social evening, with bridge from 7.00pm to 9.00pm followed by supper, which is provided by members in rotation.
