The Probus Club of Bridgetown-Blackwood Valley held a special meeting at Maranup Ford Caravan Park featuring fun, games, and great raffle prizes – to celebrate Probus Month and to promote the health benefits of staying socially connected.
Members and guests formed 3 teams - Mac, Beth and Rosa - named after 3 of the resident farm dogs. The games included Pick-up Sticks, Head-Basket Ping Pong, and Tight Squeeze Skittles! The event concluded with team choir practise - splendid renditions of Waltzing Matilda.
Team Beth won by a slim margin having wisely played their Joker card - to receive double points - on the skittles game! The day was a great success … everyone really enjoyed the experience.
