Mystery tour to ‘Goulbourn’

WOW – what a week! Six Probus members joined 26 members of 55 Plus Club on a Sapphire Coast tour with Malcolm of Monaro Coaches.
This is what was packed into four activity-filled days - Nelligen (river cruise), Tilba Tilba (cheese factory and craft shops), Merimbula (Black Dolphin Motel our accommodation for 3 nights and aquarium), Bega (cheese factory), Tathra (historic wharf museum), Bermagui (Blue Pools and Montreal Goldfields), Eden (cruise on Twofold Bay where a large dolphin followed us for some time and Whaling Museum), Boydtown (Sea Horse Inn) and on the way home, near Bombala the Burnima Historic Homestead.
Meals at the motel and various other venues were tasty and more than adequate. After all the eating and sitting on the coach, some of members even managed to do a walk, either before breakfast or before or after dinner.
The tour was well organised and members every need was seen to.
This combined activity of the two clubs was hopefully the first of many more to follow.
