SPECIAL VISITORS DAY

We celebrated the special day when we invite the widows of past members to visit us. There were 22 widows invited and five came on the day with Kath Stead being a last minute apology. In all, we had 16 visitors, a remarkable number. See page 7 for the visitors’ names.
Preparing the special morning tea are Kay, Norma and Megan. All enjoyed the tasty scones with a choice of toppings. The ever cheerful duo who greets you when you arrive each month and relieve of your currency are Attendance Officers Tom and Barry. These two work under great pressure at times, especially on this day.
The majority of the 16 visitors and many club members arrived from 9:50 am onwards to the 10:00 am start, but the pair remained unflappable.
