Happy 25th birthday

Wow, the Longford Ladies Probus Club is now a quarter of a century years old.  

The ladies celebrated with lunch at the Happy Chef restaurant and were joined by members of several other Probus Clubs, the Mayor of the Northern Midlands Council, David Downie and Mark Shelton MP, Member for Lyons. Another special guest was Terry Connell from Longford Rotary, who was instrumental in helping to initiate the club.

All former presidents were presented with certificates of appreciation and one of the clubs foundation members, Elsie Baker, became a Life Member.
