A visit to the East Coast Heritage Museum

Spring Bay Combined Probus Club recently travelled to Swansea to visit the East Coast Heritage Museum.
The group was welcomed by curator, historian and genealogist, Maureen, who shared her wealth of knowledge. The museum collects exhibits and preserves artefacts from throughout the Glamorgan Spring Bay area, for the community and future generations.
The building housing the museum is part of the old 1860's school, post office, library and teachers’ residence.
It was a wonderful morning enjoyed by all in attendance. They then ventured on to the Swansea Bark Mill where a light lunch and warm drink was enjoyed by all.
