Probus Club of Port Stephens Annual Family Picnic

The Probus Club of Port Stephens celebrated Australia Day with their annual Family Picnic at Sunset Beach.
The very welcome rain scared off a few members but it cleared up for a very pleasant 4pm start. Lots of fun and fellowship with colourful outfits of varying degrees. David Wilson was a standout in his yellow suit/green shirt; very Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi with a little bit of competition from Geoff and Jim. The ladies looked smartly traditional in red/white/blue.
As is tradition members sang the National Anthem with the help of “proper singers” and the Gibson grandchildren. Later there was a fine rendition of I Still Call Australia Home by the usual girly suspects.
Was all good fun and you just had to be there to appreciate the sentiment and the talent!!
