Northam Probus day out
29 Aug 2018
Northam Probus enjoyed a day out on a coach trip and invited the York and Toodyay Probus groups to join them.
It was an enjoyable day firstly stopping at Garvey Park, Belmont, which is by the river and had a lovely morning tea.
After they went to Optus Stadium, where they were met by their tour guides Susan and Craig, they catered for the people that needed wheelchairs and the tour was very well done. The place caters for everyone’s needs, of course no souvenirs were to be borrowed. There were great views of the city, park areas for the children the whole venue is well set out.
After they went to lunch at the International Hotel Belmont, and the meal was first class, everyone enjoyed their day.
Members did have one small incident of a lady that got herself locked in the toilet at the Hotel and they could not get the door open, so she was able to get out of the toilet window, everyone was in great humour.
