The Hutt River and Clare Probus Clubs joined forces and went on a fabulous weekend cruise on the Proud Mary down the Murray River recently.

The happy travellers set off from Clare and Auburn on Friday morning  with Mr Willson from Clare Valley Tours. They all enjoyed a wine platter lunch, a visit to The Cedars (home of Hans Heysen) and the chocolate factory, on their way to Murray Bridge, where they boarded the Proud Mary. 

The weekend was a great experience of excellent food and developing friendships between members, as well as enjoying some of the tourist highlights along the Murray River. 

On Sunday, a bus took us from Mannum to Reedy Creek Waterfalls, which was lovely, although a bit rocky. The river experience is such a great way to relax with friends. When can we go on the next one?
