Friendship day

What a great day was had by all who attended the Probus Friendship Day hosted by the Probus Club of Gilgandra. 

Probus members from as far afield as Gunnedah, Lithgow, Grenfell and Cowra, as well as many towns in between, enjoyed a day in the Town of Windmills and Home of the Coo-ees.

Following a welcome cuppa guests could choose to go on one of the tours of the town and its attractions, or relax at the Services Club for a chat to local Probus Club members. Promotional videos of the town were also shown during this time and local products were on display for sampling.

During a delicious lunch lucky prizes were drawn with guests being amazed at the variety of gifts they could choose from. These gifts had been donated from generous businesses and Probus members.

Entertainment by a number of talented local artists followed lunch, with lots of foot tapping and singing along.

Grenfell will host Friendship Day 2013 for this area of Probus District 9670.
