A busy Month for Probus Club of Currimundi Combined
28 Dec 2016
It was a busy Month for The Probus Club of Currimundi Combined Inc. starting with a camping week-end in Crow's Nest with 43 members in attendance.
A happy hour was organised on the Friday night and fish and chips for dinner in the camp Kitchen. On Saturday morning we all attended the Festivities and Grand Parade in the main square of Crow's Nest. The Stalls were many and varied with lots of bargains and the Parade was excellent depicting a lot of the history of the area. On Sunday we had a Car Rally taking in the Dams and countryside, finishing up with a monster BBQ. A great time was had by the members, already asking for another.
Our Monthly Golf Day was at Palm View where twelve members rolled up and our highest Handicapper won again for the second time in the month, her Golf must be improving or ours is going backwards, well done Jacque.
Last Friday A fashion Parade was held by our ladies at the Sebel Hotel function Room at Pelican Waters. The fashions were provided by "Portofino" and our ladies did an excellent job of modelling.
but I think the credit cards took a beating.
