Kadidjiny Park Delight: A Day of Sunshine and Togetherness for Booragoon Men's Club

On November 8th, the Booragoon Men's Club, led by the dedicated Merv Peters, gathered at the picturesque Kadidjiny Park to overcome the sudden loss of their Outings Officer. The park, a four-hectare oasis in Melville, treated members to a splendid day with its playground, free barbecues, and expansive amphitheater.

Under perfect weather, Merv and his fellow "chefs" Peter and Fred (also our Secretary and Membership Officer) manned the barbecues, capping the day with a mysterious but delicious sponge cake. This gathering exemplified the club's resilience and camaraderie, turning a challenging moment into a memorable celebration.
